Greenbush SC Premier

Greenbush SC is excited about the 2023-2024 program and the changes that have been made.

This season the boys and girl’s teams will be playing in the Eastern Development League (EDP)

In comparison to other programs in the area, please compare what Greenbush SC can offer versus other clubs, and look closely at all the costs, as Greenbush SC is the most cost-effective clubs in the Capital Region.

Included in fees:

• Weekly (x2) training sessions with player’s coach beginning in end of October / Early November (depending on school soccer season)
• Additional weekly (x1) skills training sessions with coaches (All year)
  
• Training sessions in Fall and Spring will be held at Greenbush SC Fields, UAlbany Soccer Stadium or Columbia HS Turf Fields
• Training session in the Winter (December – March) will be held at Afrim’s Sports Indoor Facility
• All costs to play in the EDP outdoor league
• All costs to play in the CDYSL outdoor league
• Registration for one local Spring Tournament
• Club registration fees, Afrim’s Sports membership fee and referee fees
• Goalkeeper training all year
• Greenbush SC Night at UAlbany Men’s and Women’s Soccer games
• State Cup Entrance Fee
• Travel Player Clinic (x3)
• Entrance to Greenbush SC Social Events (x3)
• Individual Player Assessments (x3)
• College symposium (x1)
• Scrimmages in late fall or spring at Greenbush fields
• Practice Jersey
• All coaches’ fees included

Extra fees:

• Uniform costs – $125 +/-
• Afrim’s indoor league fees
• Additional tournaments – team will compete in minimally:
• 2 fall tournaments (1 out of town)
• 1 local winter tournament
• 3 spring tournaments (2 out of town)
• Coaches out of town tournament fees
• We will not charge for league fees (EDP or CDYSL)
• We will not charge for referee fees

Try Outs:

• Each year the club holds try outs for players interested in travel soccer. 

• Our teams compete against some of the best competition in the Capital area and Northeast. At younger age levels, try outs are used by coaches to assess and evaluate players to ensure they are placed with the proper team.

Discounts:

• $50 discount for players/families who recruit new players to the travel program (new player must sign up)
• $50 sibling discount
• $100 discount to players/families who pay full registration fee at once
• $300 discount to players/families whose parent serve as team manager (either refunded at the end of the season if they paid ahead, or would eliminate the last payment)
